Seminar in London to discuss blocking journalists from entering Yemen

SANAA, June 10 (YPA) – British journalists and human right activists are to attend a scientific symposium in London entitled “Lift Media Siege on Yemen, Allow Foreign Journalists to enter Yemen”, British journalist Catherine Shakdam, director of Shakdam media foundation said on Saturday on her Facebook page.

The seminar is scheduled to be held on Wednesday at SOAS University in London.

“Since the Saudi-led coalition declared war on Yemen on March 26, 2015, journalists and independent media organizations have been prevented from entering the country by the Saudi-led coalition,” she said.

“Such acts violate press of freedom and we should expos it,” she added.
