Fire flames up at Al-Anad military base in Lahj

LAHJ, June 10 (YPA) – Fire flames up in the military base of Al-Anad after a loud explosion shortly heard on Sunday in the Yemeni southern province of Lahj, eyewitnesses told Yemen Press Agency.

“It is possible that this explosion was a result of a missile attack launched by the Yemeni army on Saudi-led coalition forces and US troops stationing  in the base,” one eyewitness said.

The Yemeni army has not yet commented on the report.
