Saudi-led warplanes hit UAE-backed forces in west coast

SANAA, June 9 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition warplanes hit on Saturday a military convoy belonging to the southern forces backed by the UAE in the west coast of Yemen, military sources told Yemen Press Agency.

“The coalition targeted some southern factions during their withdrawal towards al-Khokha district under the pretext that the information it received from the field indicates the progress of the Yemeni army forces,” the sources said.

Southern sources considered that this justification is weak, and that what happened comes in the context of the depletion of the south men in the west coast.
