UAE occupation puts Socotra airport under Zionist administration

SOCOTRA, Sept. 18 (YPA) – The UAE occupation forces  has placed the Yemeni island of Socotra airport, under a Zionist  administration, under the pretext of expanding the airport, which is one of Yemen’s largest airports.

Informed sources confirmed that the the UAE intelligence “Khalifa Foundation” and the Red Crescent, signed a contract with the companies “ Yossi Abraham and Mifram”  companies  to expand the Hidaybu airport, which  the UAE occupation is using a joint military base with the Zionist navy in the Arabian Sea.

The sources explained that the aim of the Israeli expansion was to establish an Israeli naval and air intelligence centre at Socotra airport.

According to the sources, the UAE directed its militias to expel all administrative officials at Socotra airport, for not revealing the Zionist plan at the airport.

On Tuesday, the Yemeni Press Agency (YPA) learned of the UAE’s move to establish an intelligence center for the Zionist entity at the airport on the occupied island of Socotra.
