Telecommunications Minister affirms keenness to provide Internet services to citizens

SANAA, Sept. 13 (YPA) – Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology, Mesfer al-Numair, stressed the ministry’s keenness to provide telecommunications and Internet services to citizens.

The Minister stressed the importance of concerting efforts in providing this service, in a way that facilitates their implementation and reduces their cost.

This came during his meeting with the Mayor of the capital, Hamoud Obbad, to discuss efforts of joint coordination in the implementation of communications projects in the capital.

Al-Numair explained that the ministry has a digital transformation project that depends on connecting and providing broadband Internet access to business sectors, companies, universities and citizens.
