Russia renews its support for respecting sovereignty of Syria

SANAA, Sept. 08 (YPA) – Russia has renewed its firm support for the sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of Syria and the need to find a political solution to the crisis in it on the basis of UN Security Council Resolution 2254.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that the stability of the region is linked to the stability of the situation in Syria, and that any destabilization in it would lead to “a dangerous destabilization of the comprehensive political-military situation in the entire region.”
