Sanaa reveals new details about British intelligence spying rooms on Yemen

SANAA, Sept. 08 (YPA) – The British occupation forces have a spying room at Al-Ghaydah airport in Mahra province, east of Yemen, on Yemeni communications.

Al Masirah TV quoted sources familiar with matter, the British spying room is exercising its work to cover all regions of Yemen from a number of ships via the sea cable off the city of Al-Ghaydah.

The sources stated that the British forces took the data of the Yemeni Communication Company in an illegal and illegitimate activity violating Yemen’s sovereignty and serving the Saudi-led coalition’s projects that target Yemen.

Earlier, member of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Abdul-Malik al-Ajri, announced last Monday that Britain was spying on communications in Yemen to serve its colonial goals.

Al-Ajri said on Twitter, “Britain is practicing espionage activities on some Yemeni communications networks and some submarine cables from Yemeni southern governorates, which it has taken to establish spy bases to serve the colonial goals.”
