32 fishermen arrive at Saleef port after being detained in prisons of aggression

HODEIDAH, Sept.08 (YPA) – 32 fishermen who were detained in Saudi prisons arrived at the fishing port in Al-Salif District of Hodeidah province.

The Vice-Chairman of the Higher Fisheries Committee and head of the General Authority for Fisheries in the Red Sea, Engineer Hashem Al-Dana’i, stated that the forces of aggression in the Red Sea arrested the fishermen while they were practicing their fishing profession near the island of Dahrab in the Yemeni territorial waters, and looted their fishing harvest and everything they had and took them to prison on Farasan Island. .

Al-Dana’i condemned the practices, kidnappings and continuous violations committed by the forces of aggression against Yemeni fishermen with the aim of tightening the screws on them and doubling their suffering.

Al-Dana’i directed that the returning fishermen be given all care and attention and work to create the conditions and possibilities to practice their normal lives, in a way that would enable them to overcome the difficult living conditions in light of the continuing siege.
