SANAA, Sept. 07 (YPA) – The American Johns Hopkins University reported that the total number of coronavirus infections in the world has increased to more than 221 million, and the total deaths to more than 4.5 million deaths.
According to the university’s data, the total number of coronavirus infections in the world reached 2,210,69535, and the total deaths were 457,462.
The United States topped the list of countries in terms of the number of deaths due to the virus, with 649,072 deaths, and the total number of infections reached 4,018318.
Brazil followed in second place in terms of the number of deaths with 583,810 deaths, and a total of 20899,933 injuries.
In third place comes India, with a total of 44,0752 deaths, and a total of 3,3027621 injuries.
Mexico ranks fourth in terms of the number of deaths, with 263,470, and a total of 3,433,511 injuries.
In fifth place is Peru, with a total of 19,853 deaths, and a total of 2,155,508 injuries.
Russia is sixth, with a total of 184,672 deaths, and a total of 6,929,862 injuries.
In seventh place is Indonesia, with a total of 136,473 deaths, and a total of 4,133,433 injuries.
Britain is ranked eighth, with a total of 133,598 deaths and 7,051,516 injuries.
Italy is ranked ninth, with a total of 129,567 deaths, and a total of 4,574,787 injuries.
It was followed by Colombia in tenth place, with a total of 125,331 deaths, and a total of 4919773 injuries.
