UAE refuses to leave Balhaf port, and Islah leaders threaten

SHABWA, Sept. 01 (YPA) – A security official affiliated with Islah Party on Wednesday revealed the UAE’s refusal to hand over Balhaf gas facility to the “Hadi government authorities” in Shabwa province.

“Attempts to intimidate and send mediations will not work,” said Abd Rabbo Laka’ab, commander of the so-called “Special Forces” affiliated with the Islah party.

“Shabwa is our land and we belong to it, and we will not leave it to anyone,” he added.

Laka’ab stressed that “the UAE’s exit from Balhaf facility has become irreversible.”
