RAMALLAH, Sept. 01 (YPA) – A Palestinian man who was shot by Israeli forces near the West Bank town of Beit Awar succumbed to his wounds and died, The Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Tuesday
According to local media sources, Raed Yousef Rashid, 39, was killed by the Israeli occupation army in the village of Beit Awar al-Hatta, Ramallah district.
Local media circulated videos showing the young man lying on the ground after being shot.
Other videos showed a group of young men carrying the deceased on the shoulders and running away from where he was killed.
According to a report issued by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in the Palestinian territories a few days ago, some 55 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank since the beginning of this year.
On another Hand, Soroka Hospital in southern Israel announced Monday the death of private Barel Shmueli, who was shot by a Palestinian on the security fence nine days ago, after his health deteriorated.
