Security, military commanders leave Marib

MARIB, Aug. 30 (YPA) – Local sources said on Monday that security and military commanders in coalition’s troops departed Marib city.

The sources pointed out for Yemen Press Agency that Marib city witnesses escape operations for security and military leaders loyal to coalition’s forces, including the General Mohammed al-Shareef, First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior in Hadi’s government.

The sources declared that al-Shareef left Marib with his family’s members in Hareeb district towards Sayaoun city.

The sources affirmed that the main line that links Marib with Hadramout province witnessed during the past hours an unprecedented crowding due to military convoys transporting officers loyal to coalition with their families and military equipment towards Sayaoun city.

These moves are based on the reality of military field developments in favor of the Yemeni army forces that control strategic sites in the northern side.
