MAHARA, Aug. 30 (YPA) – Saudi forces on Monday stormed the radar site of the Air Force in Mahra province, eastern Yemen.
Informed sources stated that the Saudi forces assigned the “military police”, loyal to it in Mahra, to storm the radar site, the westernmost airport of Al-Ghaydah, after the Yemeni military garrison refused to hand over the site.
The Saudi forces have taken control of Al-Ghaydah Airport since 2017, turning it into a military base for the British and American forces, amid an Israeli presence at the airport.
