DAMASCUS, Aug. 29 (YPA) – A number of children and women were injured in a fire broke out at Qasad-controlled Hawl camp, north of Syria, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported, citing local sources.
According to Local sources in al-Hawl town, a fire erupted on Friday at the camp that burned 28 tents and injured a number of children and women while they were attempting to contain the fire.
The sources have not given information about the reasons behind the fire in the camp which is controlled by US occupation-linked Qasad militia.
The camp houses about 62,000 people, half of them Iraqis, including tens of thousands of family members of foreign Islamic State group fighters, according to the United Nations.
