PM values parliament’s interaction with topics presented by government

SANAA, Aug. 28 (YPA) – The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, valued the great interaction of the Speaker, his deputies, and members of the Parliament with the various topics presented by the government, and their valuable recommendations regarding a number of activities of government agencies.
This came during his discussion today with the Minister of State for Parliament and Shura Affairs, Dr. Ali Abu Halika, a number of issues to be presented to the Parliament in its current session.
During the meeting, which was attended by Presidential Adviser Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Turb, Abu Haliqa explained that the most prominent of these topics are the final account for the year 2016, and the state’s general budget related to special and annexed funds, in addition to the draft personal status law submitted by the Ministry of Justice.
He pointed out that during this session, it is scheduled to present the matrix of responses to the recommendations of the House of Representatives, submitted by a number of ministries, indicating the progress of following up on a number of issues raised by the government and submitted to the House of Representatives in accordance with legal and constitutional procedures.
