Minister of Industry confirms keenness to support, encourage industrial activity

SANAA, Aug. 28 (YPA) – Minister of Industry and Trade Abdulwahhab Al-Durra, on Saturday affirmed the ministry’s keenness to support and encourage industrial activity and to set policies and procedures to advance the local industry.

This came while presiding over the meeting held today in Sanaa to discuss the conditions of the General Corporation for the Textile Industry and the Yemen Drug Company for Industry and Commerce (YEDCO).

The Minister of Industry pointed out that the ministry is communicating with the United Nations office about the neutralization of the industrial sector.

The meeting reviewed evaluation reports for the activities of the corporation and the company, the difficulties facing their work, and the appropriate solutions to improve their conditions.
