Industry Minister warns against rise in food commodities as result of raising customs tariffs

SANAA, Aug. 23 (YPA) – Minister of Industry and Trade, Abdel Wahab Al-Durra, warned of the rise in food prices as a result of the Saudi-backed Hadi government’s decision raising the price of the customs tariff of Aden port.

The Minister said in a press statement that the decision of the government of Hadi to raise the customs tariff would lead to an increase in food prices that target citizens.

He indicated that the Hadi government is not satisfied with stealing oil exported through Hadramout, Shabwa and Marib, but rather worked to raise the price of customs tariffs that increase the suffering of citizens.
