Emirati ship unloads weapons at Aden port

ADEN, Aug. 23 (YPA) – A ship belonging to the UAE occupation forces loaded with weapons has arrived in Yemen’s southern city of Aden.

This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on informed sources

The sources said that the weapons arriving at the port of Aden are meant for the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias.

The same sources noted the STC deployed its militias at the port of Aden after the arrival of the weapons.

The UAE’s weapons came after the STC had intensified transporting reinforcements to the city of Zinjibar, the capital of Abyan province, and then directed them to the front lines of confrontations with Hadi loyalist forces.

The move indicates that the STC militias are likely planning to take control over some areas in Abyan, and are gearing up for new offensives.
