Syrians learn how to find new solutions to overcome difficulties: Syrian President

SANAA, Aug. 22 (YPA) – The Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad, said on Sunday the Syrian people have learned how to find new solutions to overcome difficulties and challenges.

This came during his reception of a member of the European Parliament Thierry Mariani, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the developments of the situation in Syria and the region were discussed, in additional to the difficult conditions experienced by the Syrian people as a result of the sanctions and the unjust siege imposed on Syria, the Syrian News Agency (SANA) reported.

Mr. President considered it necessary to have a dialogue at the parliamentary, intellectual and cultural level in order to analyze and understand the developments and changes taking place in the region and the world.

The Syrian President called on the parliamentary and cultural delegations to visit Syria to be able to link political statements with reality, because Europe suffers from in the issue of refugees, terrorism and extremism is caused by its wrong policies in the Middle East.
