Al-Ajri affirms Sanaa’s readiness to open direct negotiations with Marib sons

SANAA, Aug. 22 (YPA) – Member of the national delegation, Abdul-Malik Al-Ajri, affirmed on Sunday Sanaa’s readiness to open direct negotiations with the sons and sheikhs of Marib province.

Al-Ajri said on Twitter that this move comes after the Saudi-backed exiled government rejected the initiative presented by the Leader of the Revolution to bring peace to the province.

He indicated that the rejection of the initiative by Islah Party aims to preserve Marib as a special resource for financing the party and its leaders.
