Senior leader issues warnings against foreign forces in Mahra

MAHRA, Aug. 21 (YPA) – A senior leader of Mahra sit-in committee warned on Saturday the foreign occupation forces against tampering with the security and stability of the border province with the Sultanate of Oman in eastern Yemen.

“The sons of Mahra will not stand idly by in the face of the occupation,” Sheikh Hamid Zabanot, the head of the sit-in committee of the Shahn district, said on Twitter.

Sheikh Zabanot renewed his call for the people of Mahra to stand united to reject all forms of sedition and division that the British Saudi-Emirati occupation is trying, and through its tools, to provoke in the province.

He praised the massive demonstrations that organized by the free people of Mahra on Friday in to reject the foreign military presence in the lands of Mahra and Socotra, and all Yemeni lands.
