Report: Army attacks militias, destroys vehicles during 3 days
JAWF, June 8 (YPA) – Yemen army on Thursday completely controlled of Mazwea front in Mutun district on Jawf province, military officials told Yemen Press Agency on Friday.
The officials said that the Mazwea controlling operation cane after three days of large-scale military operations.
Dozens of Saudi-backed militias, including leaders, were killed during the controlling operation, said the officials.
On Tuesday, the army destroyed eight of militias’ military vehicles and killed dozens of the militias, including leaders, in Mahamisha front, as well as a militias’ weapon store was burned in the east of Mutun district.
On Thursday, the army destroyed 21 military vehicles during repelling their advance and breaking into militias’ site, to rise the number of military vehicles which destroyed during three days up to 26 .
The army’s operations killed and wounded dozens of the militias in Mahamisha area of Khub-washaaf district.
The coalition gunmen abandoned the bodies of their dead on the battlefield, amid major collapses suffered by coalition forces in Jawf after the operation.
