Yemeni ambassador to Syria participates in memorial event for Secretary-General of Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine

DAMASCUS, Aug. 19 (YPA) – The Yemeni Ambassador to Syria, Abdullah Ali Sabri, on Thursday affirmed that the leader Ahmed Jibril, founder of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the General Command and its General Secretary, will remain inspiring for generations in Palestine and the nation.

This came in his speech in a memorial event, organized by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command, forty days after the death of the front’s founder and Secretary General, Ahmed Jibril, today in the Syrian capital, Damascus.

Sabri stressed that the late Jibril was a man of stances and a symbol of loyalty, and that the Yemeni people, its revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council will not forget the deceased’s positions of solidarity with Yemen in the face of the US-Saudi aggression.
