IAEA: Iran has made progress in enriching uranium

VIENNA, Aug. 18 (YPA) – The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Tuesday announced that Iran has made progress in enriching uranium metal.

The agency said in a report that Tehran used about 250 grams of enriched uranium in the form of uranium tetrafluoride in order to produce 200 grams of uranium metal.

This is the third step in a four-step plan that Iran is working on in this regard, the agency added.
