SANAA, Aug. 17 (YPA) – Acting Minister of Human Rights, Ali Al-Dailami, stressed on Tuesday the importance of highlighting the role of women and their societal initiatives in community service.
This came during the opening of a workshop organized by the Ministry for a number of security and judiciary personnel on strengthening the protection of women’s rights in accordance with the contents of the national vision for building a modern civil state.
He affirmed the need to pay attention to women in the spirit of the teachings of the true Islamic religion, which preserves women’s rights and status.
Al-Dailami pointed out that the Ministry of Human Rights would work seriously for the sake of women, their rights and their position in society.
He expressed hope that the workshop will produce outputs that enhance the status and rights of women, their empowerment in the positive participation in community.
