Israeli occupation navy targets Palestinian fishing boats off Gaza coast

GAZA, Aug. 15 (YPA) – Israeli occupation army gunboats on Sunday opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats at sea in the northern Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian media, the Israeli occupation navy forces fired at fishing boats in the Sea of al-Sawdaniya  in northern Gaza, without causing any injuries.

A number of fishermen were reportedly forced to withdraw to shore for fear of endangering their lives.

The Israeli occupation continues to attack Palestinian fishermen in the Gaza Sea, resulting in deaths, injuries and the arrest of a number of them, in order to undermine them.
