HAJJAH, Aug. 14 (YPA) – Hajjah province electricity restarted the city’s electric station after a 25-years outage.
The district electricity manager, engineer, Ayoub al-Bahri declared that the station was supplemented with an electric generator with a capacity of 1,400 kilowatts by self-financed through the General Electricity Corporation and its installation and operation has been completed.
He pointed out that this step translates the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council to establish electrical independent backup power stations to cover the governorates’ centers.
The station will work to generate electric power for the governorate center and parts of the districts of Najrah, Shaghadirah and Sharis, he added.
