Rains of varying intensity on various province expected: NCM

SANAA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected on Thursday of rains of varying intensity would fall, accompanied by thunderstorms, on most of Yemeni provinces over the coming 24 hours.

The center affirmed, in its weather forecast, that moderate to heavy rains would be prevailed over separate areas of the mountainous heights in Saada, Lahj, Dhalea, Bayda, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Jawf and Mahra province.

Additionally, high winds might be also expected on the Socotra archipelago.

It warned citizens in areas where rain expected to avoid being in waterways and valleys, advising motorists to drive carefully due to heavy fog forming on mountainous roads, as well rock and mudslides.
