CIA director heads to Ramallah after visit to occupation

RAMALLAH, Aug. 12 (YPA) – CIA Director William Burns went to Ramallah on Wednesday evening to meet with the Palestinian president and officials after his visit to the Israeli occupation, According to Hebrew media

 

A Palestinian official in Ramallah told the Jerusalem Post that the Palestinian Authority welcomes the Biden administration’s decision to send CIA Director William Burns to the occupation entity and the West Bank.

 

Burns is expected to meet in Ramallah with Abbas and Majid Faraj, head of the Palestinian Authority’s general intelligence service, the paper said, quoting the Palestinian official.

 

On Tuesday, the CIA director began a three-day visit to the Occupation Entity and the West Bank, burns’ third to the region since President Joe Biden took office.
