Zionist settlers attack Palestinian homes south of Nablus

NABLUS, Aug. 11 (YPA) – Zionist settlers on Tuesday night attacked  Palestinian residents’ homes in the village of Orif, south of Nablus, according to a local official.

Clashes reportedly broke out between the village residents and Israeli soldiers who provided settlers with protection. No injuries or arrests were reported.

On Tuesday evening, Palestinian youths set fire to the area of the Settlement of Yitzhar, which is located on citizens’ land south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.

Settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
