Palestinian resistance factions condemns Saudi rulings against Palestinian detainees

GAZA, Aug. 09 (YPA) –  Palestinian resistance factions condemned Saudi judicial decisions against 69 Palestinian and Jordanian citizens, who have been accused of supporting the Palestinian resistance.

Hamas leader, Mahmoud Al-Zahhar, said the Saudi decisions against the prisoners were not expected. He noted that “the trials are not even legitimate” because they are not based on any crimes.

“The Saudi rulings are a response to demands made by Zionists”, Zahhar said in a TV. statement. “Is fundraising for those who need help in Palestine a crime against Saudi Arabia now?”, he wondered.

Al-Zahhar also stressed that the decisions are political.

Meanwhile, the Islamic Jihad movement strongly condemned the decisions and described them as being unjust and unfair.

“The unjust and unjustifiable decisions go against Islamic law and Arabs’ values, which call for defending Al Aqsa mosque and our pressed people”, the movement said in a statement .
