Sanaa discusses coordination for ships entry via Hodeida port

SANAA, Aug. 08 (YPA) – A meeting was held Sunday in Sanaa, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Finance, Dr. Rashid Abu Lahoum, in the presence of the Minister of Transport, Amer Al-Marani.

The meeting, which included members of the Chamber of Commerce in the Capital Sanaa and representatives of the Chamber of Navigation, discussed coordination between the two chambers to facilitate the procedures for entering ships through the port of Hodeida.

The meeting touched on the procedures to overcome all obstacles to the re-flow of various commodities through the port of Hodeida.

The members of the commerce chamber confirmed their readiness to re-import through the port of Hodeida, which would contribute to reducing costs and thus having a positive impact on the prices of goods and services.
