Southern provinces’ teachers call for comprehensive strike

ADEN, Aug. 04 (YPA) – The Teachers Syndicate in Aden city announced on Wednesday teachers would head for a general strike in all southern province.

The sources familiar with the matter said that the teachers’ union would issue a statement in the coming days, which will specify the reasons of the strike and the teachers’ demands that have not been implemented for years.

The sources pointed out that the union is forced every time to waive the legitimate demands of teachers in terms of finance dues, indicating that the economic conditions have afflicted the living life of teachers.
