SANAA, Aug. 02 (YPA) – Iran vowed on Monday to respond to any “adventurism” after being accused by the United States, Britain and the Zionist entity of targeting an oil tanker in the Arabian Sea.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Saeed Khatibzadeh, said a statement that “Iran will not hesitate to defend its security and national interests against any possible adventure, rejecting his country’s involvement in the attack on tanker.”
On Monday, Romania joined the countries that accused Iran from being behind the attack on an oil tanker in the Arabian Sea, which killed two people, one of whom was Romanian.
“In light of the elements provided by our international partners, which indicate to a deliberate attack coordinated by Iran, Romania calls on the Iranian authorities to provide an explanation without delay,” the Romanian foreign ministry said in a statement.
