Iran’s president-elect tol take office on Tuesday

SANAA, Aug. 1 (YPA) – Iranian President-elect Ebrahim Raisi is supposed to take office on Tuesday, August 3rd.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ali Khamenei, will hand over the reins of power to Mr. Raisi, during an official ceremony attended by senior Iranian officials, and Iranian TV will broadcast the ceremony live at 10:30 am local time.

The president-elect will take the constitutional oath before the Iranian parliament on Thursday, August 5, and the members of his government will be presented to the Iranian parliament on Saturday, August 7.
