Amir Hatami: Enemies are waging culture war against Iran

SANAA, Aug. 1 (YPA) – Iranian Defense Minister Amir Hatami said that Iran’s enemies are waging a culture war against it as well as military and economic wars.

Hatami said, during a speech on Saturday, that the enemies are using thousands of TV channels, satellite channels and websites to target the values ​​of our people in the cultural, religious and revolutionary fields, according to the Iranian “IRNA” agency.

The Minister of Defense pointed out that “the enemies are employing the latest capabilities in terms of technology to destroy the values ​​and undermine the cultural principles in the country,” as he put it.

Hatami considered “mosques as the hub, structure and source of the Islamic Revolution movement,” pointing to the Iranian Ministry of Defense sponsoring the modernization and rebuilding of 413 mosques and prayer halls belonging to it.
