23 Injured in trains collision in Boston

BOSTON, Jul. 31 (YPA) – Several people were injured during a Green Line train collision on Friday in Boston, USA,  while  23 people were taken to  hospital

“Twenty-three people were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after the incident on Friday evening,” the Boston Fire Department tweeted.

This came after the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority announced that two trains collided with each other on the Commonwealth Avenue railway line in Boston.

“All of a sudden the train just jerked forward really quickly. It was like the worst amusement park ride you can imagine,” the CNN quoted an eyewitness as saying.

Another witness sitting in a car when the accident occurred said that some passengers sustained neck and head injuries.
