Hundreds flock to Marib after killing of Shabwa tribal shikh

MARIB, June 6 (YPA) – Hundreds of tribal militants flocked to Marib province after the assassination of a prominent tribal elder from southern Shabwa province by unknown gunmen in Marib, a local source told Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.

The sources said unknown gunmen assassinated the most prominent sheikhs of Shabwa, Mohammed bin Nasser al-Karbi, and injured his son on Tuesday evening, while he was leaving the line of electricity towers, and then the gunmen fled.

Many southern activists, in social networking sites,  accused of the assassination of Sheikh “Karbi” to the Muslim Brotherhood militant group, which is based in Marib and take it as the base of its crimes in the southern provinces, according to their talk.
