Riyadh arranges to receive figures loyal to ex-president Saleh

RIYADH, June 6 (YPA) – Yemeni sources in Saudi capital, Riyadh, said on Wednesday that there are secret arrangements for receiving a number of leading figures loyal to the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are trying to attract those personalities in order to form new forces affiliated to them directly from effective personalities and the most loyal to them, especially in the military side, according to the sources.

The sources suggested that the upcoming meeting, which will bring together these personalities and Saudi princes, will be followed by the dismissal of a number of military leaders, including Tariq Mohammed Abdullah Saleh, the ex-president Saleh’s nephew.
