Major pollution reported on the coast of the Arabian Sea

ADEN, Jul. 19 (YPA) – According to local sources in Aden, there was a significant pollution on the coast of the Arabian Sea, as a result of the sinking of oil tanker belonging to one of the leadership in Hadi government and oil derivatives trader Ahmed al-Issa.

The ship, which drowned on Sunday off the coast of Al-Buraiqa district, west of Aden, suffered from many problems, due to the expiry of its long life span and its inability to carry out any sea transport operations, the sources said.

The sources indicated that the oil leaked from the ship “Diya” spread along the coast of the city of Aden, and is likely to affect other places in the Arab Sea.

The sources explained that the ship has no longer authorized to enter the territorial waters of any country other than the permissible waters of Yemen, for all violators in the world,  because of Saudi and UAE violations of Yemen’s sovereignty.
