Human Rights Ministry condemns coalition’s crime against two prisoners

SANAA, Jul. 17 (YPA) – Ministry of Human Rights strongly condemned on Saturday the horrific crimes committed by the Saudi-led coalition-backed Al-Qaeda and ISIS elements against the prisoners.

The ministry, in a statement, considered the execution of the two prisoners, Saqr Ghanem Rashid Al-Maliki and Mohammed Ahmed Murshid Tawaf as a terrorist crime.

The statement denounced the weak stance by the international community, the United Nations and its organizations towards the coalition crimes against the prisoners.

It called on the international community to take a serious position regarding the crimes and violations against the Yemeni people by the coalition of aggression led by America, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and ISIS and al-Qaeda elements.

The ministry demanded also the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to take a responsible stance to protect the prisoners and preserve their lives.
