Women rally in Aden demanding UAE withdrawal 

ADEN, June 6 (YPA) – Hundreds of women on Monday took to the streets of Aden demanding the departure of UAE occupation troops from the city and southern provinces, a correspondent of Yemen Press Agency reported.

The women complained over the UAE-backed so-called “Security belt” about raiding the residential neighborhoods, mosques and the illegal mass arrest against citizens.

The United Arab Emirates forces have been occupying the southern port city since late 2017. Dozens of Aden residents have been arrested in secret UAE-run prisons since then.
