Hodeidah Governor: Fuel detention exacerbates human suffering in the province

HODEIDAH, Jul. 16 (YPA) – Hodeidah Governor Mohammed Ayyash Quhim on Friday said that the province suffers greatly from the detention of oil derivatives vessels, as is the case in various provinces.

“We are entering the third year of the Sweden Agreement and the forces of aggression have not complied with any of their commitments, especially on the issue of oil derivatives,” Governor Quhim told Al-Masirah TV.

“There are serious implications for water and electricity institutions and medical centers due to the denial of access to oil derivatives,” he said.

“The UN is still in line with the blockade and aggression and had done nothing to alleviate the suffering of our people,” he added.
