SANAA, Jul. 16 (YPA) – At least 11 Palestinians were shot and injured, and dozens of others suffocated during clashes that broke with Israeli occupation forces in the towns of Beita and Beit Dajan, to the south and east of Nablus, Wafa News Agency reported, citing an official.
According to Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Emergency and Ambulance Department at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), seven Palestinians were shot and injured by Israeli forces’ fire during clashes that broke out in Jabal Sbaih in Beita town.
Three people were shot by live ammunition, while the other four were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets.
Meanwhile, four Palestinians were shot and injured with rubber-coated metal bullets, and dozens of others suffocated by tear gas during clashes in Beit Dajan town.
Palestinian residents in Nablus area, have been staging rallies in protest of the construction of a new colonial settlement atop Jabal Sbeih (Sbeih Mountain) in Beita.
