SANAA, Jul. 15 (YPA) – Haitian police on Thursday reported the number of people arrested in connection with the assassination of the country’s president, Jovenel Moïse.
According to new police data on its Facebook page, 23 people were arrested in connection with the assassination of the country’s president, including 18 Colombians and five Haitians.
Earlier, it was announced that 17 people had been arrested.
Jovenel Moïse, President of the Republic of Haiti, was assassinated in his private residence on July 7th.
The Haitian authorities announced that they had identified 28 suspects in the attack, including 26 Colombian mercenaries and two Americans .
