FM calls IFRC to intensify support for Yemeni Red Crescent Society

SANAA, Jul. 14 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Wednesday called on the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) to intensify its support for the Yemen Red Crescent Society in vital areas related to providing services to citizens.

This came during his meeting in Sanaa with the IFRC’s Resident Representative, Sami Fakhoury.

For his part, Fakhoury indicated that the Federation attaches special importance to the Yemeni Red Crescent Society, especially in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions in the Republic of Yemen.
