40 people killed, injured in armed violence in Chicago during past 2 days

SANAA, Jul. 13 (YPA) – Gun violence in Chicago over the weekend, Saturday and Sunday, killed at least 40 people, including 11 dead.
Police said local rapper Lunder Sylvester, 31, was among the victims, who was shot with up to 64 bullets in the head and other parts of his body after he was released from the Cook County Jail, after which he was pronounced dead at Sinai Hospital.
Police said an unknown number of suspects jumped into separate vehicles and fled in different directions, and a 60-year-old woman who was walking with Sylvester was shot in the knee.
