Al-Qaeda admits receiving support from Saudi-led coalition in Bayda battles

SANAA, Jul. 10 (YPA) – The so-called “Jihad Movement” affiliated with Al-Qaeda organization in the Arabian Peninsula, has admitted receiving support from the Saudi-led coalition forces in the battles of Al-Souma’a and Al-Zahir in Bayda province, central Yemen.

This came in a statement issued Saturday by the movement, which considered the Bayda battle “a preparation for the great battle to purge the entire Arabian Peninsula of the Magi and the Safavids.”

The statement accused those it described as “the UAE’s tools” of treason and causing the defeat of Al-Qaeda and the coalition forces in Al-Souma’a and Al-Zaher fronts in Bayda.

This statement is an explicit acknowledgment by Al-Qaeda of the existence of coordination and cooperation between the terrorist organizations in Yemen and the coalition.

This puts the United States – the de facto leader of the coalition in the war on Yemen – in a critical position before the international community, by exposing Washington’s contradictory positions towards terrorist organizations, which proves the facts that the Americans use terrorism to serve the policy of American hegemony in the Middle East and the world.
