Agriculture Minister inaugurates first hydroponic farm in Amran

AMRAN, Jul. 10 (YPA) – The Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Abdual-malik al-Thaour inaugurated on Saturday the first hydroponic farm with the support and financing of Yemen and Kuwait Bank in Amran province.

The Minister of Agriculture considered the farm a first building block for a real agricultural renaissance contribute to reducing water consumption, addressing soil reclamation problems, and producing quality agricultural products.

He pointed out that paying attention to agriculture is one of the priorities of the ministry, translating the directives of the leader of the revolution.

The Minister of Agriculture also praised the Bank’s support for the advancement of agriculture, confirming that the ministry will be of assistance and support to every farmer seeking to increase agricultural production.
