TAIZ, Jul. 08 (YPA) – A female lawyer was attacked and beaten on Thursday by members of the so-called 35th Armored Brigade loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Taiz province.
Local sources said that the lawyer, “Dhikra Al-Adimi” was beaten by one of the soldiers of the 35th Brigade and slapped her to fell on the ground, while her husband was prevented from closing his shop by the brigade’s recruits in Mansoura market in “Al-Azezi” area of the Al-Shamaitain district.
The sources indicated that recruits raided and closed several shops in the area after intimidating the citizens by opened fire in the air. They also cut off the public road for 5 hours, blocking traffic.
The Islah militants-held areas in Taiz are experiencing security chaos and continuous violations affecting citizens.
